Here's a couple of throwback photos of Kendrick Lamar, long before Famous. These pictures of the West Coast rap who's headed into legendry status come from a random scenario. A photogapher who was in Compton to shoot work for Top Dawg Entertainment's first signed rapper, Jay Rock, was asked to shoot a new guy as a favor. This new guy went by the name of "K.Dot" and they were convinced his photos would be valuable to the photographers portfolo in the future.

A good call by the photographer to snap these shots, they capture Kendrick Lamar in his Compton, California home neighborhood. The young rapper looks eager for the opportunity. Photos were taken in 2006.
